Hatchable is used by twelve-year-olds on phones and by grandparents on tablets. This page says what we have done, what we have not, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA, which is the standard Ontario organisations are expected to meet under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
We are not claiming to have been independently audited against it. We would rather tell you exactly what we have done and where the gaps are.
Captions are the one we would fix first. Until then, most of the course is written rather than spoken, so a student who cannot use the videos can still do nearly all of it.
If any part of Hatchable is hard to use, we want to hear about it, even if you cannot say exactly why. It helps to know the page and the device.
Or use the contact form. We aim to reply within a few days.
