Assignment 5.1 — Thinking About Channels and Partnerships
In this assignment, you will apply what you've learned about channels and partnerships to one of three entrepreneurial scenarios. This will help you think critically about how different businesses reach their customers and build support networks.
Your Task
Choose ONE of the three scenarios below and answer the questions for your chosen scenario.
Scenario A: Youth Empowerment Community
A youth-led non-profit that runs after-school programs focused on arts, sports, and mentorship for kids aged 10–16 in an underserved urban neighbourhood. They want to expand their reach and find partnerships to sustain their programs.
Scenario B: ProdCo Solutions
A student-run business that creates educational videos and animated explainers to help middle school students understand difficult science and math concepts. They currently post on YouTube but want to grow their audience and explore partnerships with schools.
Scenario C: EduGreen
A youth environmental initiative that teaches elementary school students about sustainability through hands-on projects like school gardens, composting, and recycling drives. They want to expand to more schools and need partnerships to fund and deliver their programs.
